On March 8 , 2014, Tbilisi State University conducted a movie-review and discussion. A documentary film “Girl Rising” was showed to the students followed by discussions and analysis.The film tells the stories of nine girls from different parts of the world who face arranged marriages, child slavery, and other heartbreaking injustices; despite these obstacles, the brave girls offer hope and inspiration; by getting an education, they're able to break barriers and create change.
The discussion was lead by YWPS board member Ms. Nino Lagvilava, an expert in women rights, peace and security.
